Good Terms to Know and Understand

When a person is self learning Wicca there is plenty of information available in books and on the internet that provide the basics.  However, something that might be missing from all your research on Gods, Goddess, Wheel of the Year, Esbats and Sabbats are definitions of words that could very much effect how you choose to walk your path.  Or to understand how others walk a different path.

I would encourage you to look up and make a genuine effort to understand the following terms:

polytheism
hard polytheism
soft polytheism

theism
pantheistic
monotheistic
animistic
duotheistic

devas vs. gods
pantheon
patron god/dess

Heathenism
Paganism
Neopaganism
Wiccan
Reconstructionism

You're probably wondering why I listed only the words without definitions?  Because I feel it will be more meaningful if you look them up yourself. :)
